IT IS TIME TO PLANT THOSE SEEDS!!!

Mountain Meadows’ mission is to provide the highest quality seeds and planting guidance to produce spectacular wildflower gardens. Our products contain NO fillers or invasive species and guaranteed 100% pure live seeds.

Pick from hundreds of individual wildflower species, individual native grass species and mixes, or choose one of our wildflower mixes that are designed for your region or special needs.

Wildflowers are a great way to control weeds, reduce or eliminate mowing, and beautify your property. One of our super selling wildflower mixes is the Best Ever Red Lodge Wildflower Mix which thrives in most regions except coastal and desert regions and is also deer resistant!

Special Mixes can be arranged by emailing me your required seed list and square footage for the area you are going to plant.

Our native grass mixes are formulated for all regions in the US, with exception to Hawaii.  Grass species such as the sheep fescue reduce unwanted grasses and allow for integration of wildflowers.  All native grasses are bunchgrasses, NOT sod grass, of which do NOT allow meadow type growth of wildflowers and grass.

**Please note that prices are updated each quarter, prices changes can go up or down, as can availability.  Also, if there are any species not listed that you are interested in, call or email me, I will do my best to accommodate you.

Native Grasses

Non-aggressive clump grasses such as Sheep Fescue and Hard Fescue work well with wildflowers. They provide good erosion control starting the first season. These grasses perform well in most areas of the United States. The best times to plant cool season grasses are spring and fall. For the southeastern states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and South Carolina, warm-season grasses are recommended.

The native warm season grasses are generally slower growing than cool season grasses. These warm season grasses are usually planted for aesthetic and ecological reasons rather than for prompt stabilization of soil. The best times to plant warm season grasses are late spring and summer.
